I use my hand tools to build the entrance portion of the deck under the covered porch on my off grid log cabin after making lasagna and lard from bear meat and fat that my friend Jeremy brought me last week. This is the time of year to stock the pantry with food foraged, hunted, fished and harvested. I flashback to my last two days in Alaska, fishing for pink salmon in a small creek.

  2. the pace of your videos relax me after long days of stress, I am glad not to hear any dictation during the. shoot, almost reminds me of Almazan kitchen here on youtube, which was my favorite now you are taking over and look forward to more videos, thanks.

  3. Awesome video as always! Wondering how your vegetable garden is coming along brother? Have you decided to build the greenhouse covering? Continued success bro! Blessings and Peace!

  4. I love and are inspired by what you have done with timber. That Log cabin is amazing and reminds me of Grizzly Adams. I certainly could live that type of life. So much less stressful but yet fulfilling. Making your own meals, living off the land, building everything from what nature has to offer. I can smell that good food over here in Australia.

  5. Any faith that was lost in hand tools has been more than restored by this man. His abilities, projects and their completions are amazing; completing this are the scenery, location, and photography. In total, this has all combined to equal one of the best and most interesting events on YouTube. He has my undivided attention, to say the least. Cheers!

  6. Oh my goodness me how I love the sound of the Loon and then hearing wolves howling it brings such Joy to my heart. Thank you Shawn for recording all your most interesting life at the cabin. If you can do it, so many others can do it too. I take my hat off to you Sir ….cuddles for Cali too….thanks.
