Hey guys! Been a few days but back with my final Borderlands 2 Level 80 OP10 Build video and in this episode, we’ll be discussing Gaige the Mechromancer. In this video, I’ll be going over the best gaige build and most importantly, the best gaige build for solo play! This will be more of an Anarchy style build for the Character and less of a Damage Over Time, Deathtrap style build!

As always guys, if you enjoyed this video, definitely be sure to smash like and let me know what you think!

  1. For weapons, I like to go for jackobs shotguns with a 1 shot mag size. This gives you 2x stacks per shot (assuming you kill in one shot). Since they have fast reloads and Gaige has lots of skills for reducing mag size and increase reload speed, this gets crazy fast. Blood Soaked Shields is a must here, since you are fighting in essentially melee range.

  2. No mention of the Twister, Fibber, Conference Call or Pimpernel. Can't believe it's still 2019 and people are putting out horrible guides like the game just came out. It's embarrassing.

  3. Unfortunately for me, being at level 65, I don't have as much points to go around, so I definitely have to use them sparingly. Then again, with THIS build, I still have a dozen or so points to put into the Best Friends Forever tree. I can only imagine how long it'll take for me to get to level 80.

  4. I only ever put one point into the nth degree, as agent Lomax (Another borderlands YouTuber) stated: if I have two targets, and I shot one 45 times. With one point in the nth degree, I hit the second target 5 times. With 5 points in the nth degree: if I shoot the same target 45 times, I only got the second target 9 times. I pay one point for 5 bullets, and then another 4 points, for only another 4 bullets. This skills has diminishing returns and only needs one point. There's also no point maxing out blood soaked shields if unstoppable force has already been maxed out. Put 4 points into b.s.s if your gonna max out unstoppable force. I always throw one point into made of sturner stuff as it has a secret elemental damage resistance ability of about 15%. This doesn't get higher dependant on how many points you have in. I never go for buck up, as if you have b.s.s and u.f this skill is a waste of a skill point. I always try to go for sharing is caring, as well as robot rampage. Though I understand this isn't supposed to be a robot build, just these two skills alone increases deathtraps survivability as he's able to fight back and last longer if your using him to draw aggro. But to me, there's not much of a point speccing into sharing is caring without any melee buffs. Unless you have a 94 sham. It's best to but on a hide of terra, activate d.t, and switch back to your main shield. Other than that there isn't much else to critisise.

  5. I prefer the Chaotic Evil/Neutral for Gaige. In all honesty, I like the Infinity, so Reload went out the window. With the switch to the Fibber (that outright tore Terramorphous to pieces and TEABAGGED HIM FOR GOOD MEASURE), Chaotic Evil is the better bet for the incidental Crit Damage if I score one.

Because my build centers around Fibber pistols, I run with the Bee Shield and the Sheriff's Badge. You said the best defense is a good offense, and those two are BRUTAL when it comes to pistol offense! As for the grenade, I switch between Magic Missile and Chain Lightning. I love the Missile for the slag, but I adore the Chain Lightning for its inherent Close Enough attributes. Don't know where an enemy is shooting from but you can get close, fire a Chain Lightning and watch it find them! They can run, but they can't hide, and Chain Lightning will gank there friend with them!!!

  6. I would HIGHLY recommend Death From Above! Yes, it makes you lose stacks, BUT you get a slight knockback when you get shot. This knockback puts you in the air as far as that skill is concerned. As such, you deal extra surprise damage if you get hit while you're shooting at them. If your stacks are obscenely high, you won't miss a few in trade for that sweet little bonus! I love little exploits like that where the details just line up in your favor!

  7. I remember trying out shock storm when the mechromancer was new on my ps3 and it was useless. I ranked it up to 5 and it never worked. It did damage but it never killed anything. I haven't tried out on the handsome edition yet but I remember that skill bring one of the most useless skills in the game. It sad because I really wanted a good shock playstyle character. Her other shock skills are decent.
